We’re a hybrid space that combines the best of barbell gyms with equipment that fills the gaps in barbell training. That means high quality bars, racks, and plates, plus select cable machines and cardio equipment.

Where we differ from other barbell gyms is our evidence based approach to lifting. You won’t find balance balls or elevation masks in our gym because they simply don’t work. We focus on fundamentals, biomechanics and basic principles like Daily Undulating Periodization, Repeated Bout Effect, Time Under Tension, Velocity Based Training, and others.

Remote coaching is rapidly replacing traditional personal training. The only downside to hiring your own remote coach is the lack of hands-on instruction. At S&S we combine the best of both worlds. Each coached membership comes with fully individualized programming, weekly check-ins via email, video review, and all the other benefits of a full time remote coach, plus an in-person on-ramp and weekly classes.

Our Off-Peak Membership is our newest membership type. There are a lot of people who like to train hard, and that means S&S can get busy during peak hours. If your schedule allows you to train during off-peak times, you can take advantage of our special pricing.

Want to train at S&S but can’t make it during the week? Our weekend membership is the most affordable way to join team S&S, with access from Friday afternoon past midnight Sunday.
